Titusville Historic Walking Tour

Titusville offers a walking tour which denotes sites of historic and/or architectural interest.   Twenty-one locations have been selected for the placement of panels that offer  photos and a brief explanatory text.

To accompany the panels a brochure has been developed featuring a map of the walking tour layout and further information about each site.  Also included are a short history of Titusville and additional photos.  The brochures are available at the Chamber of Commerce, Benson Memorial Library, and the Perry Street Station.

We encourage visitors to take this enjoyable opportunity to learn more about our community.  The tour is a hearty walk covering just over two miles, but may be shortened by walking the closer downtown area and driving to the farthest eastern and western points.

This project was accomplished through a cooperative effort between the Titusville Chamber of Commerce, Benson Memorial Library, Drake Well Museum & Park, the Oil Region Alliance of Business Industry & Tourism, and the City of Titusville.
