Dear Area Agencies, Clubs and Businesses:   In preparation for the BIG celebration of OIL 150, the Titusville Area School District (TASD) and Titusville Education Association (TEA) are being asked to organize a Kids’ Zone.  The Kids’ Zone will house activities, demonstrations, and information for kids and families of all ages.  It will be located in the City Parking Lot, behind City Hall and is scheduled for both Saturday, August 29th from 9am to 8pm and Sunday, August 30th from 9am to 5pm.    We want to include as many organizations and clubs as possible.  Therefore, we are asking groups to design activities, games, demonstrations and informational centers for the Kids’ Zone.  Activities may involve crafts, skits, educational activities and demonstrations including, but not limited to the theme of OIL 150.  Additionally, we are encouraging people to consider science or technology related activities.  Truly, you are only limited by your own imagination.  Please be as creative as possible, and consider that your participation in the Kids’ Zone can be used as a fundraiser for your group or organization.    Space and electric use is limited in the lot next to City Hall.  We are asking people to make a commitment now.  Additionally, we understand there may be time and resources constraints.     For more information, please contact Fredrick Smith @ 827-2715 ext. 1240 or fsmith@gorockets.org.   Additionally, it would be greatly appreciated if you could please complete and return the following form to Fredrick Smith, 302 East Walnut Street, Titusville, PA 16354.   Thank you so much for your interest in this exciting opportunity, to serve thousands of people from all corners of the country.   Sincerely, Fredrick Smith TEA President
